On The Pyramid and Bacterial Growth

Introduction
Motivation for this Independent Study came from the increasing accumulation in my notes, over these last three years, of unexplained phenomena in the world of biology. These phenomena are manifest in many areas such as genetics, physiology, phylogeny, microbiology, ecology and botany.
Many of these phenomena exist on a microbiotic scale, many on a macrobiotic scale.
Examples on a microbiotic scale are as follows: the total cellular orchestration of DNA, RNA, enzymes and other chemicals involved in mitosis and meiosis; induction and organization in developmental biology and embryology; cellular transport in physiology; migration of neural crest cells and primordial germ cells in embryos (how do they know where to go there); tissue affinities as explained kidney tissue culture experimentation.
Chemical and physical explanations are falling short at offering answers that can be supported factual evidence repeatedly. Even with the evidence that leads the way with the primary, secondary and tertiary inducers in certain aspects of embryology, there has not been a full explanation as to how or why the cellular communication works.
On the macrobiologic scale there are examples also. One of the most fascinating has been the disease of humans of which there is no known cause. On thumbing through the Merck Manual, one finds the following examples: Chronic gastritis, peptic ulcer, regional enteritis (Crohn's disease), colitis, calculi (renal), primary biliary cirrhosis, rheumatoid arthritis, myeloma (neoplasm of bone), migraine headache, multiple sclerosis, pulmonary granulomatoses, lichen planus, psoriasis, chronic discoid lupus erythematosis, systemic lupus erythamatosis, progressive systemic sclerosis, and of course cancer.
There are many more than these. It is interesting to note three things when reading the material in the Merck Manual: 1. That a majority of the diseases are tissue inflammatory diseases. 2. That the etiology of many of the diseases may have a relationship to the emotional state of the patient. 3. Some of the causes may be of an immunological nature.
Other macrobiological areas are: migratory habits of animals behavior of different species, circadian rhythms in various species, human circadian rhythms and ESP in humans.
R.T.W.L Conroy and J.N and Mills in their book entitled Human Circadian Rhythms state their reasons for supporting that rhythms are endogenous.
In Russia and the United States, there is a great deal of work being done on ESP. In Russia and in Czechoslovakia there is extensive work being done in the area of psycho-energetics. This one Czechoslovakian by the name of Karel Drbal has been working over fifteen years on various phenomena that is caused by pyramids. This was not any pyramid, but the Great Pyramid at Gizeh, in Egypt. Mr. Drbal has made pyramids of cardboard and Styrofoam and has been able to keep a razor blade sharp, shave after shave, simply by placing the blade inside the pyramid. Mr. Drbal got the original idea by reading about a Frenchman by the name of Bovis, who had visited the Great Pyramid and had found that dead animals inside it did not rot but looked rather mummified. M. Bovis thought that this might be due to the shape of the pyramid itself. Evidently he built a scale modal of the Great Pyramid at home and was able to mummify a dead cat.
Some Americans have speculated that the pyramid form may be a kind gigantic lens which is able to focus some unknown energy by it's shape.
There is a book Ondes des Formes ( Waves from Forms ) by L. Turenne. Turrene asserts that various forms such as spheres, Pyramids, semi-spheres and cubes act as different types of resonators for the energy of the cosmos.
At the Delaware Laboratories in England with sophisticated instrumentation it was possible to graphically chart the patterns of the wave fronts of sounds. For example, the final chord from Handel's " Hallujah Chorus", - five notes comprised of five different frequencies- had wave fronts which when superimposed formed a five point geometric star. American physicist Charles A. Muses suggests that all forms are actually the result of combinations of vibrations of various frequencies.
My first question would be to ask, " Frequencies of what media? Air? And to answer that, I would say no. No media as we know it.
I have speculated that it might be that the media is the light energy beyond the wavelength of the visible light range on either side, or that it possibly and an even larger wavelength such as microwaves or radio waves, or a magnetic force.
I have ruled out all of these, basically because of the information that is being found about ESP. My interest in ESP lies in the fact that ESP responses are instantaneous in time. Another way to say this is that the reaction time from source to receptor is so much greater than the speed of light energy or wave energy, that it cannot be measured.
But if it is not energy at the speed of light, what is it? Dr. Nikolai Kozyrev, the famous Russian astronomer, has written "Why is nothing in a state of equilibrium in the universe? It is possible that all the processes in the material systems of the universe are the sources, feeding the general current of Time, which in its turn can influence the material system. We've been accustomed to thinking of the stars as enormous nuclear reactors, but I've reached the conclusion it is not nuclear reactions that play first fiddle" He goes on to say, "What gives stars their energy? Time as it develops into physical reality invests the world with new properties. It is to time we should look to find the source that maintains the phenomenon of life in the world." Dr. Kozyrev conjectures that time has a tangible property that makes all the difference between past and future, cause and effect.
Douglas Research Laboratories, a division of McDonnell Douglas, Inc. in Los Angeles, California area, has been doing research on properties of time also.
There are only three known forces in the world that have been measured. All known laws and equations are derived from these three. My thinking is that there is another force that can be compared to the other three forces. (See page 7.)
All of these examples of unexplained phenomena have the common denominator of still baffling today's scientists by not being able to be applied or demonstrated by Known laws.

The Experiments
The purpose of the experiment were to investigate the possible effect on bacterial growth, due to the interior environment of the pyramid. The proportions of this pyramid were the same as the Great Pyramid in Egypt. The pyramid must be aligned on a North-South axis.
Experiment 1. August 11, 1973
This experiment was done at home. One pyramid and two control volumes were used. The two control shapes were a seven sided cone and a flat, elongated cuboid structure. All three shapes were made of single strength cardboard, and taped together.
Dimension of the pyramid:
Height: 5.25 inches
Base: 8.50 inches
Side: 8.12 inches (side of each isosceles triangle)
Dimension of cone: Dimension of cube:
Height: 6.25 inches Height: 4.0 inches
Base: 4.4 in. (@ tri.) Length: 9.0 inches
Side: 8.0 in. (@ tri.) Width: 5.0 inches
All open at the bottom, no base.
Phase 1.
Throat cultures were made by swabbing my own throat with non-sterile cotton swabs and streaks made on blood agar plates.
The plates, one for each shape, were placed under each shape inside our apartment and allowed to incubate of 12 hours.
Phase 1. Results: No growth after 12 hours
Phase 2.
Throat cultures from my throat again were taken with sterile swabs and streaked on another 3 blood agar plates.
The 3 shapes then were removed from the inside of the apartment to the patio outside. Phase 1. Plates were put inside the shapes with the phase 2. plates. They were allowed to incubate at temperatures that ranged from 32 C to 47 C, (90 F to 116 F) for a period of 18 hours.
Phase 2. results: Growth on all plates. Alpha hemolysis along the streak on all plates.
Diagram of the pyramid and the position of the plates.
Experiments 2. to Experiment 5. were done at the California State University. The shapes were placed on the roof of the Biology Department's pond observatory. On the 30th of October, 1973 I was able to get three students from Professor Cullin's engineering class to "shoot" a magnetic North-South line in the roof of the observatory. From this line, I was able to layout a true North-South line 16.5 degrees West of Magnetic North.
New shapes were constructed for the project. Two types of material were used: Single weight glass and one eighth inch "masonite" board.
A pyramid, cone and cube were the shapes constructed, but only one cube of glass was made. Two pyramids were made, one glass, one masonite. Two cones were made, one glass one masonite. The dimension of the pyramids:
Height: 7.42 inches
Base: 12.00 inches
Side: 11.25 inches (side of each isosceles triangle)
Height of one third height of pyramid: 2.47 inches
Dimension of the seven sided cones:
Height: 9.5 inches
Base: 5.5 inches
Side: 11.25 inches (side of each triangle)
Dimensions of the elongate cubed shape:
Height 4.0 inches
Length: 8.5 inches
Width: 6.0 inches
Experiment 1. November 2, 1973 Shapes on Magnetic North axis.
Petri plates that contain Nutrient agar were placed inside the pyramid and inside he other shapes as well, with the lids removed. NO micro-organisms were streaked n the agar plates.
Results: November 8, 1973
No growth at all on any of the plants.
Experiment 2. November 14, 1973, Shapes on true North axis.
Nutrient agar plates streaked with Staph. aureus were placed inside the shapes. Lids removed.
Results: November 26, 1973

Experiment 3. NOT DONE
I was going to grow some bacteria at optimal conditions and than place those colonies in the shapes to see if they would be affected.
At this point because of the rapid dehydration in the shapes that were made of glass, it was decided to cover the interior surfaces with a thin, opaque, stiff paper. This was done, and the shapes were left on the True North axis, and hence no sun light now could pass through the glass.
Experiment 4. November 28, 1973
Experiment 2. repeated with plates streaked with E. coil onto a BAB agar. A sixth plate was added to the experiment and placed under a tin can.
Results: December 3, 1973
Condition of the shapes: the same and not disturbed. Moisture between paper and glass walls.
Condition of the plates;
Experiment 4. Results continued.
Condition of the plates: All plates had growth along the streak. A cream colored, smooth growth. Some isolated colonies.
The paper light shields did prevent the dehydration of the agar.
Gram stains of the growth in each of the plates of experiment 4., produced all negative gram stains; the pinkish red color of the counter stained rods 1.0 to 2.0 microns long.
Experiment 5. December 14, 1973
Hamburger and moist French bread were placed within each of the shapes, to see if the pyramids prevent spoilage of the meat and prevent bread mold from growing on the bread.
Results: January 11, 1974
The condition of the shapes remains the same.
There was profuse growth on each piece of bread, and in the glass shapes the bread was slightly dehydrated.
There were small amounts of bacterial growth on all of the meat pieces. Usually some green colonies, but some of the colonies were white or gray.
III.
Conclusions
The glass shapes without the light shields in place, definitely caused a severe dehydration of the agar. However the paper shields inside became warped as they absorbed moisture and this could have had some affect on the effectiveness of shapes themselves.
There was more correlation between the material used for the shapes than there was between the differences of the pyramids as compared to the other shapes. However, again, this could be due to the fact that the sides of the Masonite pyramid and cone became highly warped in a concave fashion even though they remained very well taped at the seams.
Therefore if the shape of the pyramids sides are supposed to be a perfect plane, then its ineffectiveness is accounted for readily.
Too, there is a conflict in the literature as to just what axis is supposed to be correct. One source states that True North is the proper axis and another states that Magnetic north is the proper axis. I did all but the first experiment at the pond on the true North axis. Perhaps that if the wrong axis.
The Czechoslovakians have postulated that there are two kinds of "psychotronic generators"- cosmic generators and biological generators. In their view, the pyramids are cosmic generators. This could explain why there was no effect on the bacteria.
Also if were remotely possible that the pyramid was focusing the force or energy that could influence the "biological clock" or physiological clock, this would be a partial explanation also, because prokaryotic organisms have never been proven to have a biological clock. The organisms I used in the experiment were prokaryotic. The only exception was the fungal bread mold, which are eucaryotic.
It is also a great possibility that the pyramids that I constructed were not of the proper proportions.
It is also a great possibility that they were not constructed of the proper materials.
Other experiments could follow with new materials and more exact dimensions.
